as it is now its much more than anyone would expect.
And you added link !!Madness!! hahaha
I like sending people to good shows. =D People can still feel free to ask, though, since it’s easier to give recommendations based on what people know what they want to see and/or have seen and enjoyed. =)
I have tried to make one of these before, but I have seen a lot of shows, so it gets tiring. My preferred genres are romance, drama, slice-of-life (if not too boring) and psychological shows, so that’s what you will see a lot of. I will also put shows on here that I have started and put on-hold, or just know from people talking about them and these will be marked with a (!) because I haven’t actually seen them. All links are to MyAnimeList.net so you can read about the show beforehand. Some shows fall under multiple categories, as well, so I will put them in multiple categories.
(*) - Favorites
(!) - Haven’t seen.
(-) - Haven’t completed.
[Under construction. Stopped working on list when I finished adding completed/watching anime to the list. Will add the on-hold/plan-to-watch later since that’s like 300 more shows. There are still a lot of other shows that I don’t know yet, too. I will reblog this every 100-200 followers. ]

It’s a puzzle game first. Outside of the puzzles, all you do game play wise is sit in a bar at night with your friends and talk to different people in the bar. Depending on how you react and respond to people, it will change the outcome of the game, as well as the conversations between people.
The plot is that Vincent has been with his girlfriend for 5 years, but he’s afraid to get married to her and she’s getting kind of impatient with him and every time they are together, he is extremely paranoid and stressed out. She’s kind of bossy, but it’s not in a mean way, just in a tired way, it seems.
At night, Vincent is stuck in a nightmare where he has to continuously climb this wall of blocks because if he dies in the dream, he will die in real life. As time passes, rows from the bottom fall off, forcing you to climb.
When you are in your nightmare, you have sheep horns, and there are other sheep there, as well. All the sheep say that they are the only person there and everyone else is a sheep, so you know they see things the way you do. No one knows why they are there, although as you progress through the levels, most of them (all of them men) talk about cheating or bad relationships with women, like their mother - but not everyone. You are told that someone wanted you to die and sent you down there. You don’t know if the same person sent everyone or if everyone has their own private person that hates them.
To get to each level of the nightmare, you go in this strange elevator and talk to this mystery person that sounds like a little boy and get asked a ‘question’ that will change your angelic/devil meter and then you are lifted away in your elevator.
You do a puzzle, then talk to sheep, can buy an item, and talk to other sheep about ‘techniques’ which are ways to climb the tower and quite useful. Most of the sheep you talk to are actual people Vincent has run into in real life and sees at the bar, even though no one knows who is who right away. After you talk to sheep, you do another puzzle, rinse and repeat. On the final level of each night of the nightmare, you have to go against a giant boss which is some kind of fear Vincent has and race not to die to the top of the wall.
After you finish your night of puzzles, then you wake up and the second time Vincent wakes up, Catherine, the blonde girl, is in bed with him. He doesn’t know why, nor does he remember much, but she’s very affectionate and acts like they know each other very well.
You can respond every now and then during the day and on some days, he will go and meet his girlfriend, Katherine and be paranoid about cheating and you make decisions on what to say. Also, on some days creepy and dramatic things will happen, but those are story-related and semi-spoilers, although nothing really major.
Aforementioned, at night you sit in a bar that you go to with your guy-friends and one female waitress that Vincent went to high school with, and he gets drunk and talks about his problems. So they all know he’s cheating on his girlfriend, even though he doesn’t remember most of it.
While in the bar, this is the most interaction you get in the game. You go around and talk to your friends, respond to them, talk to other people in the bar, listen to their problems, respond, etc. You can also change the music in the jukebox or play an arcade game, which is the same as the puzzles, just in old school graphics.
The best thing about hanging in the bar (to me) is when you get messages from either Catherine or Katherine, or one of them calls you. You can respond to their texts and have a few choices on what to write. If you delete the line that it gave you, it will give you another one and there are usually 3-4 lines you write per text, so you can make it sound how you want, even though there are only like 2-3 choices, they make a difference. Depending on how you respond to everything, there is a meter in the corner that points to Devil and Angel and the meter changes depending on your answers, which has to do with the outcome of the game, as well as conversations.
If you don’t pay enough attention to the people in the bar, they will disappear from the nightmare world in their sheep form and die in the real world. It’s kind of easy to tell which sheep is who since they have names like, “Sheep with police officer hat”.
The puzzles are quite challenging, but they are fun! I haven’t beaten it, so I can’t say if it’s worth the 60 bucks I paid for it, but we’ll see.
