1. I got Bioshock Infinite last night at midnight release and so far it’s great, although a little hard, which makes it even better! I am really curious as to what is going to happen and Elizabeth is so adorable.. and she reminds me of Disney’s Rapunzel.
2. I am almost finished with my first playthrough of Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and I must say that it is the best out of the three I have played so far. I can’t find a true ending route yet, though, so I am just going to see what I get.
3. I was also playing Tomb Raider right before I got Hyperdimension and it was also really good. I look forward to finishing that, too.
I don’t usually have a backlog of games, but I do at the moment. My boyfriend wants to get Terraria on the PS3 today, too, but I think he is just going to play that with our daughter today since I am all into Bioshock!
This means that I won’t be overly active on Tumblr for a bit, but I have a queue set up, as always, so at least it won’t be dead.
According to Dengeki Playstation magazine, Compile Heart’s RPG “Hyperdimension Neptunia” was announced to get an anime adaptation. The newest version Hyperdimension Neptunia V will be released on August 30th.

A manga adaptation has been serialized on an online manga site Famitsu Comic Clear since November 2010.

I have played Hyperdimension Neptunia and Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2. I have the platinum for the first game and did more than half of everything in the second game, but even though I paid full price for both of them and even spent a bunch of money on DLC, I know for a fact that the story of both games is weak… and the characters are extremely generic. I don’t think this is the best idea for an anime, but I will check it out nonetheless, out of loyalty to the game.
And because I want to see Compa. She’s my favorite character in both games.
I got the sequel to Hyperdimension Neptunia yesterday, Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2. I have the platinum for the first one, but let me say, the second one is infinitely better when it comes to game play, dungeon crawling and fighting. In the first one, you couldn’t even choose to heal yourself when you wanted and the dungeons were extremely similar and taken from Trinity Universe. However, in mk2, the dungeons are much more open, I can choose to heal myself whenever I want and most importantly, you can run around in battle and it’s so much more active than the first one. It’s still turn-based, but not just standing there choosing actions. So far, so good.
For those that don’t know, it’s a super anime-looking game about saving the gaming industry. Each character is named after a gaming company, ex: Nisa from NIS.
Here is a trailer. I love Compa. <3
